Vineeth will be given appropriate job: Kerala Sports Minister

first_imgThiruvananthapuram, Jul 12 (PTI): India footballer C K Vineeth, who lost his central government job, due to lack of attendance, will be given an appropriate posting, Kerala Sports Minister A C Moideen today said. Vineeth, who services from the Accountant Generals Office here were terminated owing to lack of attendance, met the minister personally and sought employment. The player later told a television channel that he was awaiting the governments decision. In the order issued by the AGs Office it has been stated that Vineeths services had been terminated with effect from May 7, 2016 under Rule 5 of central civil services (temporary service) rules, and consolidated instructions on probation/confirmation in central services. Moideen and Leader of Opposition in the state assembly Ramesh Chennithala had written to the Comptroller and Auditor General of India to reconsider the decision to terminate his service, but to no avail.
