Invitation to Open Farm Day

first_imgFarmers are inviting the public to experience a little piece oflife on the farm during the third annual Open Farm Day on Sunday,Sept. 26. “This is a tremendous opportunity for producers to showcase theirfarm operations and raise public awareness about agriculture andits influence on our everyday lives,” said Chris d’Entremont,Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries. “It is also a greatopportunity for people to show their appreciation to members ofthe agricultural community for all the effort that goes intotheir work.” Nova Scotia farms generate more than $400 million in variedproducts each year. The province’s major farm sectors are dairy,horticulture, poultry and eggs and livestock. There are about2,678 registered farms in Nova Scotia. The Department of Agriculture, through its Nova ScotiaAgricultural Awareness Committee, is hosting Open Farm Day thisyear. In 2003, more than 3,300 people visited 51 farms acrossNova Scotia as part of Open Farm Day. This year 46 farms willparticipate in the event. Shahid has been a shining example for me Ishaan

first_imgMumbai: Actor Ishaan Khatter is in awe of his elder brother Shahid Kapoor whom he describes as a shining example and finds it baffling how the “Kabir Singh” actor was able to play the most complex, lost and damaged characters with such perfection. Ishaan on Wednesday shared a few photographs of Shahid from “Kabir Singh” on Instagram. He captioned an image: “As happy as can be for my big brother today who’s always been a shining example of a human being for me.
